Curt Carlson, a native of Minnesota, began his first business venture in the 1950s with "Gold Bond Stamps." The stamps were given out at the grocery check-out to eager housewives, who would place the stamps in a Gold Bond Stamp book and redeem them for products for the home. Needless to say, this approach to value-added purchases catapulted the Carlson family into fame and fortune.
In the spirit of one of Minnesota's greatest and most well-liked entrepreneurs, the 2009 BCCA Specialty is offering "Bucky Bucks" for your Bucky Bucks stamp book, redeemable for products in the Beardie Mercantile. Specialty-goers can earn Bucky Bucks for the following:

When you check in and pick up your Hospitality Bag, you will also receive your "Bucky Bucks" stamp book. Collect the stamps in your book and redeem them for great stuff at the Mercantile booth. Each completed book of Bucky Bucks or 120 stamps is worth $6.00 off your favorite purchase.
